A Spanish poster for the upcoming Vin Diesel action flick "Babylon AD" has been released online. It is exactly the same as the Russian poster, except that the city in the background seems to on fire. The tagline is roughly translated to: "Mankind already has a protector."
The movie is set in the near future, and is about a mercenary who is charged with delivering a young woman from Russia to Canada. He learns that she has been manipulated by a synthetic virus and what lies inside her could doom the human race.
"Babylon A.D." is directed by Mathieu Kassovitz, who last helmed Halle Berry's "Gothika" back in 2003. He seems to be just as popular behind the camera as he is in front. You might remember Kassovitz from "Munich," where he played one of the Mossad agents along side Daniel Craig and Eric Bana. "Babylon A.D." is scheduled to hit theaters on August 29th.
