A brand new poster for the upcoming "Blindness" film has been released, featuring the face of Julianne Moore having her face felt up. The very straight-forward tagline states: "In a world gone blind, what if you were the only person who could see?"
The movie is a highly-anticipated project by Fernando Meirelles, the Oscar-nominated director behind such great films as "The Constant Gardener" and "City of God."
In "Blindness," a doctor's wife (Moore) becomes the only person with the ability to see in a town where everyone is struck with a mysterious case of sudden blindness. She feigns illness in order to take care of her husband (Mark Ruffalo) as her surrounding community breaks down into chaos and disorder. Based on a novel by Nobel Prize winner Jose Saramago. Check out the trailer for more on this movie.
At this point, the movie has already made its appearance at the Cannes Film Festival, where it received a lengthy standing ovation. It has now been scheduled for to hit theaters on September 19th.
