Today, we have the trailer for one of two Che Guevara films, entitled "The Argentine." Unfortunately, it is in Spanish and bootleg, but it is also the first footage that has appeared online. If you have been wondering whether Che would be portrayed as a criminal or a hero, I think it is easy to tell that it is the latter.
"The Argentine" takes place in 1956, when Ernesto 'Che' Guevara (Benicio Del Toro) and a band of Castro-led Cuban exiles mobilize an army to topple the regime of dictator Fulgencio Batista.
The second film, "Guerrilla," revolves around Guevara and his 1964 travels to New York City to address the United Nations.
The two pics have a combined budget of around $70 million and are both directed by Soderbergh, who is responsible for such films as "Erin Brockovich," "Traffic" and the three "Ocean's" movies.
