Chris Lackey's Flash feature animated comedy film "the Chosen One" has been recently screened at the 2008 San Diego Comic-Con. The DVD will be officially released on August 26th. The film so far has been screened at the Newport Beach Film Festival, the Binational Independent Film Festival (where it received "Honorable Mention"), and the Fort Lauderdale Film Festival (where it won the "Best Experimental Film" Award).

Thus far (as of 8/26/08) the online critical reviews of the madcap comedy film has been received with 9 positive reviews (Ain't It Cool News, JoBlo.com, Geek Radio Daily, Amazon.com, New Times Palm Beach, Homemediamagazine.com, and Patrick Rickett's Video Reviews Weekly), 2 negative reviews (Box Office.Com and animated-views.com), and 1 neutral (thisissomescene.com).
