The trailer for the upcoming Robert De Niro comedy "What Just Happened" has been released, showing the everyday challenges that a movie producer faces. The screenplay is written by veteran Hollywood producer Art Linson, who based the story on his own memoir.
In the fictional film, De Niro plays a desperate movie producer trying to preserve some dignity as his soul is slowly destroyed by the machinations of Hollywood and the breakup of his second marriage.
The film is directed by Barry Levinson, the man behind such films as "Good Morning, Vietnam," "Rainman" and "Bugsy." He has also worked on another project with De Niro in the past, called "Wag the Dog." "What Just Happened" is scheduled to hit theaters on October 3rd.
