As we had reported earlier this morning, Morgan Freeman was involved in a "serious accident" in Mississippi and had to be airlifted to Regional Medical Center in Memphis, Tennessee after suffering from multiple injuries.

Good news is Morgan is said to be in "good spirits" despite the fact that he's suffering from several broken ribs and a bad knee injury.

Morgan reportedly lost control of his car, flipping it several times. "They had to use the Jaws of Life to extract him from the vehicle. He was lucid, conscious. He was talking, joking with some of the rescue workers at one point."

    this is such a sad moment of my day to hear of morgans accident,i pray for a speedy recovery from his injuries,hes a fantastic actor and i have enjoyed all his movies ,and want to enjoy many more,hang in there morgan ,all my thoughts prayers are with you today and every day of your recovery ,your movies bring such intertainment and i know if i am watching somthing you are part of its going to somthing i will remember and be a story of quality and i will be intertained all the movie ,, good luck morgan ,love and warmest regards maureen xx

    I think he ia a good man.I hope he recovers soon and without any permanent disability,because quality black actors like him have suddenly become endangered species.
