Mark Ruffalo Cannot Afford to Send Kids to College

By now, everyone knows actor Mark Ruffalo from such films as "Zodiac," "13 Going on 30" or even "The Last Castle." But did you know that unless he keeps getting constant acting gigs, he might not be able to pay for his three kids' college education. Sure, he's got at least ten years before his oldest heads off to college, but is that enough time for this Hollywood star to save up enough money and be able to support his family at the same time?

WorstPreviews chatted with Ruffalo at the Toronto Film Festival, who revealed that he would love to return to theater, but he cannot turn down the millions of dollars that the studios offer him... For his family's sake.

"If I can make a living to support a family of three in Los Angeles, I will probably be doing a lot more theater," said Ruffalo. "It's my deep love."

He continued: "Right now I am just doing films, and like I said, I got to get these kids to college and it's expensive."

At this point, Ruffalo has starred in "Reservation Road," "Zodiac," "All the King's Men," "Rumor Has It," "Just Like Heaven," "Collateral," "13 Going on 30," "Eternal Sunshine of the Spotless Mind" and many more. He has also worked with Hollywood's top directors, like David Fincher, Michael Mann and Martin Scorsese. He has three films currently being shown at the Toronto Film Festival and has recently expanded his career by making his directorial debut with the upcoming "Sympathy for Delicious."

Supporting a family and sending kids to a good school is a problem for many people who really cannot afford it. Hearing Ruffalo talk this way, makes me wonder what I'm going to do when I have kids.
