Animated NASCAR Comedy to Replace "King of the Hill"?

Fox has extended its relationship with comedian Jeff Foxworthy, greenlighting an animated pilot presentation from him about a dysfunctional family set in the world of NASCAR. Foxworthy already hosts "Are You Smarter Than a 5th Grader?" for the network.
Untitled animated comedy comes from Foxworthy and "10 Items or Less" executive producers Nancy Hower and John Lehr. Foxworthy, Hower and Lehr will write and exec produce. Foxworthy will also lend his voice to the presentation, with other voice actors to be determined later.
The presentation comes as Fox continues to expand its animation roster, looking for the next generation of hits. Fox is no stranger to blue collar-themed animation shows, having aired long-running hit "King of the Hill" for 13 seasons. Should "Hill" eventually wind down production, the Foxworthy project could potentially fill that void.
