Michael Douglas has fielded questions on the current financial crisis in the US.
The actor won an Academy Award for his portrayal of Gordon Gekko, who used the phrase "greed is good", in the 1987 film Wall Street.
Douglas was speaking out against nuclear testing when questions were pitched about the current state of the market.
One reporter asked: "Are you saying, Gordon, that greed is not good?"
"I'm not saying that," Douglas replied. "And my name is not Gordon. He's a character I played 20 years ago."
The 63-year-old recently signed up to play flamboyant musician Liberace in a film directed by Steven Soderbergh.
