Walt Disney Pictures has recently announced that they will be making a fourth "Pirates of the Caribbean" film and Johnny Depp is already onboard to reprise his role as Captain Jack Sparrow. But would the rest of the cast return as well?

"I had an amazing journey with those three films, but I think it's on to different things," said Keira Knightley in an interview with MTV News. She mentioned that she has no idea what's going on with the new installment, and she will not be back.

The fact that Depp was brought on by Disney during the studio's showcase means that they have spoken to him months prior. Since Knightley has no idea about any new "Pirates" films, probably means that the story of the fourth installment will probably be all about Depp's Sparrow and nothing to do with Knightley or Orlando Bloom.

Previous rumors have stated that in the fourth film, Jack Sparrow could be searching for the lost world of Atlantis.

    Kiera Knightley has to be in the 4th film otherwise I WILL PROTEST!!! i love love love the pirates of the caribbean movies i can watch them again and again and not get bored i know bits that make you jump! and it would be the same without keira or johnny!PLEASE PLEASE PLEASE! do the next pirate film or everyone will hate you FOREVER!!! xxx

    No! Granted Depp could make up for them, but why try? They need to continue their stories! There has to be a strong(or weak) heroine who brings comedic relief. Maybe, hopefully, she'll reside and do another one. Just one more at least, need to finish all their stories completely.

    If Keira Knightley or Orlando Bloom are not wanting to do another sequel for Pirates they should just focus on Jack... and Barbossa trying unsuccessfully to get that missing piece of the map back lol! But yeah they shouldn't try to make someone else play Elizabeth or Will 'cause then they would just ruin everything. OH! And they HAVE HAVE HAVE to do something with Davy Jones and Calypso! Oh my goodness I'm still raving about that couple they're one of my favorite couples in the history of movies!

    i no alot of girls might not watch this film now because we also liked the romance n it as much as the comedy and action
    i went on saw the third installment in the movies and you will not believe the loudness of the cry of 'no' wen will 'died' lol
    and then you could here the girls crying it was so loud lol
    if you dont put Keira in you cant have Will you dont have the 2 of them and your going to lose alot of your audience

    Wise not to continue...Rachel Weisz and The Mummy Franchise seems to be similar to this.
