An international poster for the upcoming film "City of Ember" has been released. It features a shot of the kids and the city, but does not list a single actor's name. Not even Bill Murray's or Tim Robbins'. Instead, it says that the film is produced by Tom Hanks.
In the movie, for generations, the people of the City of Ember have flourished in an amazing world of glittering lights. But Ember's once powerful generator is failing ... and the great lamps that illuminate the city are starting to flicker. Now, two teenagers in a race against time, must search Ember for clues that will unlock the ancient mystery of the city's existence, and help the citizens escape before the lights go out forever.
Directed by Gil Kenan and based on novel by Jeanne Duprau, "City of Ember" was shooting in Belfast, Northern Ireland and is set to open in October 10th.
