A gun featured in James Bond movie The Man With The Golden Gun has been stolen, reports say.
Police are investigating the theft of the prop, which was being looked after by Elstree Props, a tenant based at Elstree Studios.
Managing director Stephen Wickenden told The Telegraph: "We have no idea who stole it or when it was stolen but things do not usually go missing."
The gun is thought to be worth £80,000 and was used as a prop by Christopher Lee, who played Bond's (Roger Moore) enemy in the film.
A spokesman for Hertfordshire Police confirmed that officers are investigating the theft.
Meanwhile, a spokesman for Moore joked: "You'd better ask Christopher Lee about this. Search his house."
