Great "My Bloody Valentine 3D" Poster

"My Bloody Valentine" is getting a 3D remake next year and to promote the film Lionsgate has released a brand new poster that focuses on the fun you could have at the theater. It shows pickaxe smashing through the screen at a frightened audience. The tagline states: "Nothing says 'Date Movie' like a 3D ride to hell!"

Based on the 1981 cult horror film by the same name (without 3D), the new movie revolves around Tom Hanniger (Jensen Ackles), who returns to his hometown on the tenth anniversary of the Valentine's night massacre that claimed the lives of 22 people. Instead of a homecoming, however, Tom finds himself suspected of committing the murders, and it seems like his old flame (Jaime King) is the only one will believes he's innocent.

"My Bloody Valentine 3D" is directed by Patrick Lussier, the man behind "Dracula 2000" and "White Noise 2: The Light." His new movie is scheduled to hit theaters on February 14th, 2009.
