New 'Harry Potter and the Half-Blood Prince' Trailer!

A brand spanking new international trailer for Harry Potter and the Half-Blood Prince has hit the internets, and since the voiceover uses the words "This year ...", one assumes this is an older trailer or one that wasn't meant to arrive until some point in 2009. Nevertheless, there's some new footage here -- some darkness, some romance, some running, some magic and a whole lotta fire. You'll remember how Half-Blood Prince was supposed to come out in just a couple of weeks from now, until Warner Bros. decided to pull a fast one and push the film's release date all the way back to July 17, 2009. With Potter and his cronies out of the way, the teen vamp flick Twilight moved up and has been trying to swipe whatever Potter thunder was left lingering. While Twilight may now own November, this new Potter trailer proves the boy wizard ain't exactly ready to give up his top spot on the teen fantasy totem pole just yet.

    wow i'm so out of news...i didn't know that they canceled the showing of the movie till next year...mheyn can't wait for it...i don't care what others say...i LOVE these books and the movies too even though they do cut out a lot of stuff...well it was because of those cut outs that i started reading the book so it's ok :D!!!

    Never will the movie hold all the details the book does. The movie is truly a teaser of the books. If you put that to heart, you'll love any Harry Potter movie and if you never read a book of this series it's a great reason to start. Can't wait to see how they cram so much detail into 2 hours or so.

    i thought the 6th book was a really good book and it was one of my favourites... there are a lot of interesting scenes in this book and i hope they do a better job in comparing the book to the film in this one as they were very bad comparing the fifth book to the film and they left out far too much information!!

    I don't think the book is boring.I'm taking a rest from the Twilight Saga[[I've already read it 3 times]]to read Harry Potter 6 and everybody seems to either think it's boring or they love it and are typing very excited comments.I can't wait for the movie to come out and I'm trying not to get discouraged.
