We knew Tina Fey would not be back to "Saturday Night Live" after a great stint as Sarah Palin on the show. According to the National Post, Amy Poelher likely won't be back except for a few guest appearances after her maternity leave. Geez. Just when SNL was becoming interesting again... more trouble.
Now, SNL has announced two new cast members.
• Abby Elliott She's the daughter of Chris Elliott, so this makes the first father/daughter combo to appear on the show. Here is her YouTube channel.
• Michaela Watkins She's guested on many sitcoms, most recently on The New Adventures of the Old Christine, and has "trained in the Groundlings improvisation group" according to the NYTimes ArtsBeat blog.
