Diane Lane's "Killshot" Posters

Back in 2006, I was expecting "Killshot" to soon appear in theaters. It obviously didn't. But almost three years later, it has finally been picked up for distribution and has set a release date of January 23rd, 2009. And why not, Mickey Rourke has become a star again and both Diane Lane (Unfaithful) and Thomas Jane (Punisher) are big names, even though Jane makes about one film per year.

Today we have two posters, which look more like photos of the posters. They feature a shot of Diane Lane in the first and both Lane and Rourke in the other. The tagline on both states: "Yesterday she was a witness. Today she is a target."

In the movie Lane and Jane star as a married couple who become the targets of two killers after they stumble on an extortion plot hatched by the bad guys. Blackbird (Rourke) kills smart and deadly. Richie (Joseph Gordon-Levitt) kills stupid and crazy. Both are out to erase any living evidence of the couple
