Back in 1990, Universal Studios Florida opened a Ghostbusters show, called "Ghostbusters Spooktacular." Then six years later on November 9th, 1996, Slimer and company were kicked out to make room for "Twister: Ride It Out."
Now, twelve years later, comes word that a new attraction based on the 1984 "Ghostbusters" film might be in the works again.
In an article on Kotaku [via UGO], which mostly talks about the "Ghostbusters" video game, there is a part that mentions that to recognize the 25th Anniversary of the original theatrical release of the film, Sony Pictures Consumer Production Inc has licensed the property for a theme park attraction as well as for video games, toys, t-shirts, comic books and prop replicas.
It is still unclear which theme park will end up with the attraction. Stay tuned.
