Sylvester Stallone and Dolph Lundgren Re-Unite in ...

Jeann-Claude Van Damme recently revealed that he will have a role in another "Universal Soldier" installment. One of the actors he was hoping to bring back is Dolph Lundgren, who starred with Van Damme in the original. Unfortunatley, the studio did not feel the same way. "I told them, guys bring in Dolph!," said Van Damme. "They said there's no more value [to cast him]. I said, 'it will have value with me!'"

No value to Lundgren? Now comes news that there's value to him afterall, at least according to Sylvester Stallone.

During the "Transporter 3" premiere, ReviewNation asked Stallone about his upcoming "The Expendables" film that he is writing, directing and starring in. Stallone revealed that in addition to himself, Jason Statham and Jet Li, the film will likely also have his "Rocky IV" co-star, Dolph Lundgren.

"It'll be him [Statham], Jet Li. We're getting close to getting Dolph Lundgren," he said. "It's going to be a homecoming of tough guys."

Pic follows a team of mercenaries on a mission to overthrow a South American dictator. Lensing starts in February in Costa Rica and Louisiana.
