The first clip from the upcoming Daniel Craig WWII drama "Defiance" has been released, showing Craig taking charge of a group that's becoming difficult. Check it out by clicking on the link below.
The story follows four Jewish brothers living in Nazi occupied Poland who escape into the forest, where they join up with Russian resistance fighters in battling the Nazis and trying to save the lives of other Jews.
The film is directed by Edward Zwick, who last directed "Blood Diamond." He began developing "Defiance" 8 years ago after picking up the film rights to Nechama Tec's non-fiction tome of the same name. The project is the first World War II drama he's tackled, although he's directed two other war pics, "Courage Under Fire" and "Glory." His new movie is scheduled to appear in theaters on December 31st, in limited release.
