JoBlo points out that writer/director Charlie Kaufman (Being John Malkovich, Adaptation) appeared on Stephen Colbert's "The Colbert Report" to talk about his new movie "Synecdoche, New York."
The interview is hilarious and features a look at Kaufman that many have not seen before. He seems charming, funny and likable. I can't believe this is the same guy that received an Oscar nomination for "Adaptation" with his fictional twin brother, Donald Kaufman.
"Synecdoche, New York" revolves around a theater director (Philip Seymour Hoffman) who struggles with his work, and the women in his life, as he attempts to create a life-size replica of New York inside a warehouse as part of his new play.
