Clint Eastwood says being politically correct is "boring".
The famed movie-maker and actor - who directs the new Angelina Jolie-starring film Changeling - plays a racist war veteran in new movie Gran Torino.
And he insists he isn't afraid of being controversial.
He says, "I enjoy being politically incorrect because I think political correctness is boring.
"You talk to people who are walking around on egg shells all the time and it is kind of boring."
Eastwood, 78, laughed when a reporter told him his younger co-stars had admitted being intimidated by him: "Good, I hope they say that!" he joked, but added: "No, it is probably because they're 16 and 17."
