give her a break... many twilight fans were also protesting about rob pattinson being edward but it went out great. they were all wrong.
so even if vanessa did audition for the part, it is still up to the casting group (or whatever) to choose who fits the part... maybe, it will turn out fine, just like rob

she's probably doing this to get a chance to flash some skin or whatever... ("you know, the one who is always having naked pictures of herself “leak” onto the internet") I mean those parts when she phases and the guys "catch a glimpse of it"...

NO NO NO! This can not be happening! There is nooooooo way in hell that she can go from HSM to New Moon. Leah is supposed to a mean girl and Vanessa is more of the sweet type. (well not that sweet.) Plus she is a crappy actress! They r gonna mess up the movie! AND idk why they r looking for a Leah if she in the books she isn't really introduced until eclipse. Well there isn't anything that we can really do. I just hope that the rest of the movie is really good. they better not mess it up! Cuz I think that New Moon has really good potential. Like when Edward leaves and the Voltturi.

Ashley Greene DIDN'T confirm that.I watched the interview and she only said she admires her talent or something along those lines...I know it would be a smart move money wise due to the insane amount of High School Musical fans which startles me a bit, but it would be just flat out stupid, because have you read any of the comments online?? Twilight fans would personally kill you if you couldn't get a hint from the angry remarks and large amount of caps. I don't think she would be good, because she doesn't fit the physically or emotional requirements. She needs to be bitter and mean and does Vanessa ever stop smiling + talking like a six year old?? When I think of Quilettes, I don't think of latinos or whatever she is [Cuban??]. Anyway they go,I don't think it will matter much in New Moon, because she's only featured in one scene as far as we know, but it would really take away from twilight's dark side replacing it with pink and hearts.

You know, its so sad that they will make the decision to putting a singing, dancing, girly HSM girl in New Moon as a lethal werewolf, just to get extra money and fans.
Personally, I would hate it if they put Vanessa Hudgens *ugh* in the movie. But I also would be happy if the Twilight movies got extra fans.
BUT THINK ABOUT IT!! If more HSM fans got into Twilight, think of what age group those fans are. The Twilight series would no longer probably apply for an older age group- it would be seen as a kiddy-ish film if 10 yr olds are their newest fans!

That aside, putting Vanessa Hudgens on board would be a HORRIBLE idea. It would alienate Stephenie Meyer's original fan base. Yes, Summit will consider the bottom line and how many teens and tweens can fill the seats, but hopefully Stephenie Meyer and Chris Weitz will look past that and stay true to the story

No Disney stars need to be in these movies. The plot is going to get too dark for any of the Disney stars to play these roles.
