Fox has announced this morning that "Prison Break" will end its this Spring after run after four seasons. The series returns to the network on Friday, April 17th at 8pm for a final lap.

In other Fox news, the network confirmed that its "American Idol" results show will air in its traditional Wednesday 9pm slot after all. (It was originally believed that the "Idol" results would continue at 8pm, where it will air early in the season.)

"Idol's" Wednesday edition will move to 9pm once the show reverts to its in-studio competition phase. That means new drama "Lie to Me," which is initially airing behind "Idol" on Wednesdays at 9pm, will slide down to 8.

In doing so, Fox notes that "Lie to Me" will face less powerful drama competition

    im sure they were leaning toward this being there last season, its been great so far this year and im sure it will lead to a great conclusion. u can only take a show of this calibur so far, its gone on 4 fantastic seasons

    Hmm i like Heroes season 1 no doubt, but it become more and more complicated cheesy that i stop watching! i hope they regain soon.. :D

    and for 24, i watched the whole 6 season but for me, i grow tired of it.

    Lost? that is one of my fav show! it's smart and intriguing, it will likely to run for 3 more season (hope so)

    I haven't watched Prison Break after Season 2, only because of night classes. At least they can end the show, properly, instead of with a cliffhanger than never gets resolved--like with Fastlane (I haven't forgotten about that, Fox!).

    What the **** is wrong with you people???? If Heroes gets cancelled, I will never be the same. A show like that might come out once in a lifetime, we have to save Heroes, watch Heroes, it will improve!!!

    The show that started this onsalught of aazing drama series's?

    Thats silly, 24 is still kicking, and always will. 24 Will stay for atleast 2 more seasons...Heroes will most likely survive one more year. Fox wouldn not wanna get rid of something successful. Prison Break became lesss successfull last season...it's growing redundant. As is "Lost"...which is on ABC.

  • Damn! I'm glad, sorry for the fans i admit season 1 and 2 was entertaining but it goes downhill since then, i hope they cancel Heroes and 24 too!
