Talking with Entertainment Tonight about the much lauded emergency landing on the Hudson River made by US Airways pilot Capt. Chesley Sullenberger, Tom Cruise said he was pondering the idea of turning the whole incident into a film.
According to the Valkyrie star, "It's remarkable. I was with people today and they said, 'There's a movie in here.' I'm thinking about that." He's ready to take off the eye patch and take it to the Danger Zone!
Back in 1994, Tommy Boy got his pilot's license to match his aviator sunglasses from Top Gun because he's such an enthusiast of flying. "I know what it's like, because we train for emergencies," Maverick confessed.
The only way I will be convinced that this story will be treated properly will be if Val Kilmer is cast in the picture. And there will be beach volleyball. On the banks of the Hudson River.
