Ready For Another Version Of Lethal Weapon?

Wayne Kramer is known for writing and directing smaller action movies like Running Scared or the immigration drama Crossing Over, but he may be on the verge of hitting the big time with his next project. Kramer has been charged with directing Fully Automatic, a buddy action film following in the footsteps Lethal Weapon.

You can tell the movie is the big league because it's being produced by Joel Silver, who launched Lethal Weapon forever ago and remains a big-deal producer, despite Speed Racer. Variety says the film will hopefully start shooting later this year, after Kramer has a pass at the script. You can't blame him for wanting to get everything in order before he makes what might be his big-budget debut.
