Hilary Duff Slams Faye Dunaway Right Back

I'm on Faye's side to be honest. Because Hilary isn't "a real actress". Faye was spot on.

Hilary's insult is crap. "I think that my fans that are going to go see the movie don’t even know who she is, so you know…." So? Just because a bunch of teenage girls of the "High School Musical" era don't know who she is, doesn't mean that Dunaway is not a good actress. Many people have heard of her, and for a lot better reasons. Chinatown and Bonnie and Clyde (will not be beaten this time, especially not with Duff in a leading role) and many others, whereas Hilary is known for.. (gee, I can't even remember that show). And insulting her looks is a bit personal. At least Faye's insult was about Hilary's "acting career", and at least she was also right :P.

Seriously, when Hilary wins an Oscar*, I will take her as seriously as Dunaway.

*Yes, I know Oscars aren't the best to go by and many people have lost faith in them, but they are still the best film awards to judge by.

Dunaway brought it on herself. I didn't even know who she was until she opened her mouth. I'm proud of Hilary for standing up for herself (though I don't think she was a good choice for Bonnie either)
