THIS is the first glimpse of film legend MICHAEL CAINE as a battling pensioner — in a gripping tale of Broken Britain.
Sir Michael, 75, stars in Harry Brown and plays an OAP who goes on a rampage of revenge after his best pal is killed.
The scenes were filmed in London where Harry’s journey takes him through a chaotic world where drugs are rife and guns run the streets on his council estate.
The ex-marine turns from a lonely widower into a man forced to dispense his own brand of justice.
A source said: “It’s extremely moving. When Harry’s friend is killed he is pushed over the edge.”
The cast includes Brit beauty EMILY MORTIMER and CHARLIE CREED-MILES TV hit Skins.
The film is out next year.
