TV spot and new pics for 20th Century Fox’s “Street Fighter: The Legend of Chun-Li” have been released.

“Street Fighter: The Legend of Chun-Li” focuses its story on the undercover Interpol agent Chun-Li. Though the official plot of the movie has yet to come out, the action film will deal with the personal history of the character known for her ‘ox-horns’ hairstyle as well as her quest for justice.

Written by Justin Marks and directed by Andrzej Bartkowiak (Romeo Must Die, Exit Wounds, Cradle 2 the Grave and Doom), the video game adaptation stars Kristin Kreuk, Michael Clarke Duncan, Neal McDonough, Taboo, Chris Klein, Moon Bloodgood, Edmund Chen, Cheng Pei Pei, Josie Ho and Robin Shou.

“Street Fighter: The Legend of Chun Li” will open to theaters on February 27, 2009.

    I hope this Street Fighter movie doesn't suck as much as the one with Jen Claude Van Damm, man that's a long name. I mean don't get me wrong Jen Claude Van Damm was the perfect actor for the role of Guile and Rual Julia was very cool as M.Bison but they still managed somehow to fuck it up. I think they made it too corny and it needed better special effects. e.g Ryu and Ken's Hadoukens. Also it needed better fight scenes.
