Malcolm McDowell Confirmed for "Halloween" Sequel

Just a few days ago, actor Malcolm McDowell revealed that his Dr Loomis character is in the "H2" script, but he was still in talks of joining the sequel, with time and money being the big determining factors.
Now, director Rob Zombie has updated his official MySpace page with news that McDowell will indeed reprise his role. "Rumors have it that Malcolm will not be returning as Dr. Loomis," he said. "Well, as usual the rumors are wrong. Malcolm McDowell will be back and ready to deal with big Mike."
McDowell previously revealed that he hasn't read the script yet, but knows that Loomis will not be chasing Myers anymore. Instead, the pursuit will be left up to the "notorious Sheriff." Loomis, meanwhile, will be in the middle of a book-tour.
