Twilight director Catherine Hardwicke plans to reunite with Summit Entertainment and direct an adaptation of the young-adult novel If I Stay.
The book, by Gayle Forman (”Sisters in Sanity”), hits shelves April 2. According to Variety, the story centers on 17-year-old gifted classical musician Mia and her indie rockstar boyfriend who’s forced to choose between life and death when she’s in a car accident with her family.
The Twilight DVD came out on Friday, with cast members making surprise midnight madness appearances.
