OK, Efron haters, I finally have a foolproof way to get you on to my team-- provided Zac doesn't screw it up. Want to know the favorite movie of a kid born in 1987, not old enough to remember the days of Pepsi Free, Huey Lewis and the News or even Ronald Reagan? Want to know what kind of car this kid owns, even though he could afford plenty others that would get up to 88 mph without the aid of a Mr. Fusion?

That's right: Zac Efron loves Back to the Future. See, don't you have a little more respect for him now? Cinematical picked up this tidbit via Teen Hollywood, which took Efron's admission of love for the classic trilogy to mean that he would happily play Marty in a remake.

Wait, what's that? A remake? That's how Efron could squander all of this goodwill-- making a remake of a movie that should remain classic and untouched for the rest of time. If he knows what's good for him-- and lets face it, he was smart enough to bail on a Footloose remake-- he will leave the DeLorean in his own garage, and be content with spending his weekends with the DVD set, leaving the Back to the Future legacy unspoiled.

    I'm not against remakes, even to movies that I consider to be "classics" - like Back to the Future. But I don't condone ANYTHING with Zac Efron in it!!!! I HATE that guy! Just looking at hom makes me want to give him 2 black eyes! I hate this guy almost as much as I hate that Heidi Montag chick and her equally plastic husband/boyfriend/WHATEVER! :P

    After recently seeing his horrendous acting talents as a guest host on SNL, i could never feel comfortable supporting him in a 'Back to the Future' remake. Each of his appearances on-stage were lifeless, bland and unmotivated.

    Knowing that he balked out of the 'Footloose' remake is good. Even if he decided to abandon his 'type-cast image' to make it seem like he isn't just a dancing dork who travels with a stylist.

    I certainly hope the HSM and Hannah Montana castmembers all stick to Disney films for the rest of their short-lived careers in the limelight.

    Remember, if you start off your career with 'Disney', you're going to work for a company founded by an anti-semite.

    Isn't that just a kid-pleaser? Disney hated Jews. Now you Efron-lovers can continue in Walt's footsteps.

    Boycott Disney.

  • They could do another but if Michael J Fox was in it again. He still looks about 20. But please no remake, especially with people like Zac Efron! The trilogy was amazing, the first being the best but it still kicks Pirates of the caribbean ass anyday!
