Jack White has revealed that he is mixing a number of songs for inclusion in a White Stripes film.
The guitarist told Self-Titled magazine that the as-yet unnamed movie will hit screens some time during 2009.
White said: "The White Stripes are releasing a film this year.
"When I go back home in a few days I'm going to mix all the music for that, which is like 40 songs, so that's going to take a lot of time."
The White Stripes made their live return on Late Night With Conan O'Brien in February.
