A recent interview had Peter Facinelli dishing some production details about the upcoming Twilight sequel New Moon, which is currently filming in Vancouver.

The actor, who plays Dr. Carlise Cullen in the big screen series admitted that he expressed his disappointment to author Stephenie Meyer that his character didn't get to come along on a trip to Italy for New Moon. "I did tell her, 'You know what? I'm a little upset I didn't get to go to Italy.' I said, 'Carlisle could have shown up in Italy.'"

But any letdowns aside, Facinelli said the choice of Chris Weitz as a director for the second film was "Fantastic. You know, the second time around it's a little easier." You want to know what would have made it even easier? A trip to Italy. Ha! He didn't say it, but he was totally thinking it.
