Sam Rockwell has revealed details about his character in Iron Man 2.
The actor will play the role of Justin Hammer, who is portrayed in the comic books as an English tycoon and arch nemesis of Iron Man’s alter ego, Tony Stark, Total Film reports.
He told MTV: "They wanted to go with a rival for Tony Stark who is closer to his age, and make him American."
Rockwell went on to mention that Hammer won't have many fighting scenes in the movie, though added that his comic book incarnation bears a striking resemblance to a fellow actor.
He said: "That looks like Jeremy Irons. I guess they couldn’t get Jeremy Irons for it."
Iron Man has a release date of April 30, 2010, and also stars Robert Downey Jr. and Mickey Rourke .
