Country crooner Keith Urban and his wife, Oscar-winning actress, Nicole Kidman are considering adopting a child from the Asian nation of Vietnam, Britain’s Daily Mail reported on Monday.
The couple recently requested information about the adoption process, Dang Minh Dao, deputy of the country’s Department Of International Adoption, told Australia’s New Idea Magazine over the weekend.
“Yes, Nicole Kidman wants a baby from Vietnam. We’ve been approached by the American Embassy,” the official said. But Dao stopped short of revealing too much on Keith and Nicole’s adoption plans.
“This is very sensitive information. We are keeping it closed.”
Keith and Nicole married in 2006. The are already parents to 11-month-old Sunday Rose, while the Australian-born Nicole has two teens from her marriage to Tom Cruise.
