Anna Friel Hurt Her Ankle Filming New Movie

Anna Friel busted her ankle while filming her new movie Land of the Lost.
The British actress admits she got too enthusiastic with her jungle stunts when she fell awkwardly and suffered from a bad sprain.
“I did hurt my ankle when we’re in the vines and we’re taking off. That was about a week of being in harness,” says Friel. “We were yanked so hard one day and we’d all eaten lunch. That’s really not a good idea - to eat lunch before wearing those harnesses. I’ll never do it again. And not only do you feel sick, we couldn’t breathe either. And I had a busted ankle.”
Friel, 32, revealed in March this year how she turned down the chance to star in three TV shows following the huge success of Pushing Daisies in America.
“I was incredibly honored and flattered this year because of Pushing Daisies,” she said.
“It’s really propelled my career in America and to be considered for anything is lovely.
