Cameron Diaz’s latest movie role is helping her spread a very serious message — and raise a few laughs at the same time.
The Charlie’s Angels beauty has been entertaining and educating her pals with a skullcap borrowed from the set of her new movie My Sister’s Keeper, in which she plays the mother of a young leukemia victim.
“Cameron kept her bald cap as something of a souvenir,” says a source close to the actress. “She was incredibly touched by the story and the experience of playing the parent of a terminally-ill child.
“The cap has raised a few laughs with her pals but it’s also helped Cameron spread a very serious message about the condition and what the film is about.”
My Sister’s Keeper hits movie theaters later this month.
Meanwhile, in a new interview with Marie Claire, Diaz, 36, revealed she wants a bigger butt.
“I’d love a bigger butt, more meat on my bones,” she said. “I’d love to be more voluptuous. It’s just not my body type.”
