Kate Winslet is planning to turn her back on Hollywood.
The Oscar-winning British actress — who is married to director Sam Mendes — says she is sick of life in the spotlight.
“I think I have to take time off,” Winslet said. “I’m sick of me and I’m sure everybody else is too!
“But I would love to do some theater. It would be a good challenge. I need to keep scaring myself. And that would sufficiently scare me. Maybe a musical or something completely different.”
Kate, 33, recently insisted her life isn’t perfect.
“I don’t have a perfect life,” she said. “There are things I could implement within my life that would probably make it easier.
“But I deliberately don’t do it because if I did, I would be living that movie star existence that I really try and resist.”
