Alba, Rodriguez rumoured for 'Insiders'

Jessica Alba and Robert Rodriguez are teaming up for a big screen version of graphic novel series The Insiders, say reports.
According to ICv2, the pair have acquired the rights to the series, which was created in 2002 by Jean-Claude Bartoll and Ranaud Garreta.
The Insiders is based around a Colombian heroine called Najah Cruz, who has similar talents to James Bond. She works for the White House and infiltrates a worldwide mafia organisation, where she gets a job as a bodyguard for its criminal leader.
Seven volumes have been released to date in France, while Cinebook is releasing the first volume in English this October.
Rodriguez, whose credits include Sin City and Spy Kids, is also currently working on a remake of Red Sonja and a Jetsons movie.
