David Arquette Courteney Cox “Scream 4″

Real life couple David Arquette and Courteney Cox will face a killer for a fourth time!

The husband and wife acting duo will reprise their roles as Deputy Dewey Riley and pitbull newswoman Gale Weathers in the upcoming slasher flick Scream 4, David has revealed.

“We are going to be doing ‘Scream 4,’” the actor told E! Online’s Marc Malkin during a Feeding America charity campaign in New York City on Tuesday,.

“I fell in love with my wife on ‘Scream,’ so the opportunity to bring [Deputy Dewey Riley] back to life and for my wife to play that really bitchy character again, it’s just going to be really fun,” David said. “It’s just great.”

He added, “Kevin Williamson is writing the script at this moment, and hopefully Wes Craven is going to direct.”

Although Williamson recently said Neve Campbell, best known for her role as series heroine Sindey Prescott in the series, is not on board for the next installment, David is still hopeful that she’ll reprise her role.

“I hope Neve does it,” he said. “I really hope so.”
