Nicolas Cage to Reboot "Ghost Rider"

We already know that Nicolas Cage is looking to make a sequel to "Ghost Rider." And now, MTV News caught up with the actor to find out whether it will actually be a sequel or a reboot.

"I would like to do a reconceive," Cage explained. "I would like to go in a whole other direction, and I think that's what they're talking about. I would make it much less of a Western and more of an international story."

Back in September, Cage discussed some ideas for the second installment: "Taking him into Europe, having him go on a motorcycle tour through Europe, and he's connected with the church, if you can believe that. So it sort of has elements to it that are very much in the zeitgeist, with 'The Da Vinci Code' and things like that."

    Just put in more fights and actions...it will do fine...thats all the first one lacked...cage is a good actor you cant blame him for the story line...but they do need to make him look a bit younger for the second one though...however i still want cage to act in this movie...i hope part2 will improve like how punisher improved...the first one was kinda boring but the second one really showed the world what punisher is all about...

    Ghost Rider is one of those tortured soul characters, you'd need a visionary director and a dark story, and with the backlash of comic books duplicating the feel of the dark knight, it would fall apart, the rider is best left on comics or an animated movie...cage could voice over johnny blaze for that, that i would enjoy

    I think Ghost Rider can definitely work on film...you just have to have talent. Cage is NOT right for the part. Enjoy the man's work, but come on, a superhero he is not. And as for Mark Steven Johnson, no. Simply, no. The man has a passion for comics, sure, but it doesn't translate into good films. Even though I did enjoy Daredevil Director's Cut.

    Fuck No, just leave the last abomination of a ghost rider movie as it was and move on, ghost rider doesnt project well on-screen and Cage ruined the 1st one, let it go buddy
