Jude Law Smacks Female Paparazzo

Jude Law Smacks Female Paparazzo

Things were going so well for Jude Law. His performance of Hamlet is earning rave reviews, he's spending lots of quality time with his buddy Cameron Diaz and a mystery woman and his new film, Sherlock Holmes, promises to be highly entertaining.

But the other night, Jude was out with his buddy--and supposed competition for the affection of Cameron Diaz--Leonardo DiCaprio at the Automat bar in London when he got into an altercation with a female paparazzo.

The photographer claims that Jude intentionally struck her, telling The Sun, "He hit me full on the face, it was a real stinger, it was very sore."

However, a rep for the actor claims it was an accident and that Jude inadvertently hit the woman when he went to shield his face from a camera flash. "This is all nonsense. Last night's incident was an accident...He apologized and left. Pictures of this sort can often be misleading," the rep added.

This sounds like a mystery that needs to be solved. Someone get LaToya Jackson on the case!

I can't believe all of these idiotic comments defending Jude Law. Like Tiger Woods and any other multimillionaire who is completely dependent on his celebrity and fame. He gave up being a private citizen when he chose his cushy life. The jerk (heatmiser86) here who said "all journalist should be punched in the face" should be forced into exile in Zimbabwe or Myanmar where he can live among people who share his point of view about the press. Jude Law is a coward, lowlife for hitting a woman. I hope he was sued or settled out of court paying this woman big. Payback is a bitch, and he'll surely get his. He is not above the law.

As for all of these boy fans defending law, I know many in the gay community have a crush on him, which is fine, but you more than anybody should understand that violence is vile. Either you're Jude Law's PR trolls, love struck or unwilling to accept hard photographic evidence.

Jude Law belongs in jail. Then he can show what a tough guy he really is.

i don't always like his movies, but i do commend his attempts at gaining back his privacy, self-defense and dignity.

female or male, unwelcome paparazzo who crowd, provoke, and insult celebrities/artists/athletes don't deserve any warning.

I would'nt be surprised if he was just sheilding his face, as he's got that squinty "Argh" Look on his face as if he's anticipating the bright and irritating snap of the lense. She does look awful close to him, when I personaly sheild my face my arm does go out pretty far before it reaches my eyes.
Plus his fingers are flattned, rather than clenched.
His hand is meeting the BACK of her head, not her 'face' as she has mentioned. That is also quite fishy. He's at too much of an awkward angle for a punch/slap. In my opinion the media should'nt even attempt to get that close, I'm not condoning violence but the way half of the photographers/reporters act deserves a little punishment. Not that I'm saying she did anything wrong but for gods sake, let the man partaay.

If that picture is supposed to be evidence that he's hit her than he doesn't exactly appear to be shielding his face.

jesus look at the size of that flash - its prob so strong it would blind you. in all honesty the paps get away with too much, fair enough if a celeb tries to maintain their "hard" image and smacks someone - they should get done in, but if you're on your own private time and a dickhead/vaginahead is pissing you off. that shit dont fly.

    p.s.
blatantly didnt hit her in the face or otherwise she would of fell backwards rather than be turned around, he prob just -at most- shouldered his way through to get past the cow

Its the Sun ... the one newspaper that gets 99% of its stories wrong :P

I think I would need to see a video to be convinced, it looks more like a push tbh.

These stories are zero accurate and sometimes, they are in the eye of the beholder; they could be so relative... it's unfair for some actors nowadays; they get judged immediatly; the media is so powerful.
