Tautou amused by Oscar suggestion

Audrey Tautou has expressed amusement at the suggestion that she will win an Oscar for her role in new biopic Coco Before Chanel.

The actress told BBC Radio 1 that she found it "very exciting" to play the fashion designer at a pivotal point in her life.

Regarding the possibility of success at next year's Academy Awards, she said: "That's so funny. The movie hasn't been released anywhere before except in France.

"I'm more concerned about the audience and whether they'll like this movie. I think it's very clever and I really like it."
