EXCLUSIVE: 'Harry Potter' Author J.K. Rowling Next Subject Of 'Female Force' Comics

With U.S. President Barack Obama, "Twilight" author Stephenie Meyer, multimedia icon Oprah Winfrey and King of Pop Michael Jackson each the subject of their own biography comic books, it should come as no surprise that "Harry Potter" author J.K. Rowling is getting a bio comic of her own in December.
Bluewater Productions, whose line of "Political Power" and "Female Force" comics featured many of the aforementioned figures, revealed to Splash Page that Rowling will be the next subject of their popular line of biography comic books. The comic promises to chronicle the "rags to riches story of a woman receiving government financial assistance through her ascendancy in becoming one of the world’s most recognizable writers."
Written by Adam Gragg with interior art by Matthew Filer (“Masque of the Dragons”) and cover art by Joshua Labello, "Female Force: J.K. Rowling" will hit shelves in two formats: a standard, 23-page comic and a "double-sized collector’s edition."
