LOS ANGELES — Nov. 1, 2009 — For Immediate Release — Greedy pursuits and an experiment gone wrong lead to infestation, destruction and death in Mutants, available on DVD Nov. 3 from North American Motion Pictures.
The Just Rite Sugar Company has a plan: Create an additive to mix with everyday sugar and make it the most addictive substance in the world … more so than cocaine and caffeine combined. And they know just the twisted scientist to get the job done.
But something goes terribly awry and the substance transforms human beings into savage, bloodthirsty creatures. Relentless violence and havoc erupt as more and more people become infected. Now it’s up to the company’s head of security and his girlfriend to contain the contamination and stop the plague before it spreads worldwide.
Stars Michael Ironside (TERMINATOR SALVATION, SCANNERS, TOTAL RECALL) and Steven Bauer (SCARFACE, TRAFFIC, PRIMAL FEAR).
