"School of Rock 2" and "Them" Scripts are Completed

Mike White, who is best known for writing "Nacho Libre" and "School of Rock," spoke to Collider about some of his upcoming projects, may include a "School of Rock" sequel and "Them," which is a conspiracy comedy about one woman's journey to unmask the secret rulers of the world.
"Edgar Wright (Shaun of the Dead, Hot Fuzz) and I worked on the script for 'Them'," said White. "It's an adaptation of a Jon Ronson book. It's not a remake of the ant movie. It's a sci-fi conspiracy comedy. Edgar went and made this other movie, 'Scott Pilgrim,' and now he's finishing editing, so the conversation will happen about whether he'll do that, or we'll find another director. I don't know. But, the script is written."
And what about "School of Rock 2"? "The script was written for that, too," White replied. "It's just about scheduling, Jack [Black], studios, deals and money. It's out of my hands."
He added that director Richard Linklater is in talks to return for the sequel.
