Dane Cook Wants to be The Riddler in "Dark Knight" Sequel

Christopher Nolan will likely move forward on the third "Batman" movie after he completes "Inception," and he already has actors lines up to play the possible villains.

Angelina Jolie and Rachel Weisz want to be Catwoman, while Johnny Depp would love to play The Riddler. Other names have come up for The Riddler as well, including Guy Pearce and now, comedian Dane Cook.

"I love the new 'Dark Knight' series and 'Batman Begins,'" Cook told MTV News. "If they brought back The Riddler — a new Riddler the way they did with The Joker — that would be bad-ass. I would do that. That would be it. I could retire after that."

    The riddler would be a pretty good villain in the next movie but please don't do dane cook PLEASE, he's a very funny comedian but he's not the kind of guy i would put as a villain. Honestly i think that david tennant would make a good riddler, i mean he was pretty scary in the fourth harry potter film.

    Catwoman would possibly be a good anti-hero but don't do angelina jolie, if it was just me i would pick kate beckinsale, i mean she's hot and i haven't seen her in a good movie in a while.

    i couldn't really see either Cook or Depp playing the Riddler. i don't see him fitting in this type of movie. just that Depp has been playing all of these weird and eccentric characters lately doesn't mean he would be the best fit here automatically. and catwoman shouldn't be in it either... Harley quinn would be better since the joker was caught.

    I like Jim Carrey's Riddler, but Cook just doesn't fit into well enough. Depp could do a good job of it though. It be interesting to se what they could do with the Riddler character to make him differant from The Joker in The Dark Knight.

    Sounded like he took himself as a joke for it to be quite honest. And I have to say no, the Riddler has got to be creepy and smart in the next movie, Jim Carrey just went OTT, as did all the other villians in the 3rd and 4th movie.

    These new movies are sinister and they need an actor who can achieve that. Johnny Depp would certainly be my pick. And PLEASE leave Catwoman out of it all!!!!! Don't need her, its a silly character, far too unrealistic because the minute I see Batman getting his ass kicked by a 7 stone (98 lbs) girl, I will be out of that cinema like a friggin shot! Call me sexist all you want, but it ruins most hollywood movies because it just isn't REALISTIC! Christain Bale in full blown anger mood up against Angelina Jolie ... give me a break!
