Man-at-Arms jumps between two monstrous pillars to a rampway in Skeletor's throne room. Always on the lookout for danger, always with a sword drawn, he's an older but wiser warrior in the "Masters of the Universe" world.
"I like the character of Man-at-Arms," says veteran actor Jon Cypher. "He's old and battle-scarred and far from being perfect. But he has been around the block and seen many things. That kind of character appeals to me."
Cypher has also seen many things in his many years as a veteran character actor.
He has made a number of feature films, including "Halloween," "Valdez is Coming" and "True Confessions." He has appeared on "Dynasty" and other TV programs, but Cypher may be most noted for his regular role on "Hill Street Blues" -- as the politically savvy Chief Daniels.
Man-at-Arms turns to face the horrible terror that has reared up before him. He takes a second to look and turns to He-Man and Teela who have joined him in the fray.
"It's bigger than all of us put together," he says. "But there's nothing to worry about." His armor glistening in the light, Man-at-Arms draws his sword and walks into battle.
