  • Description: In 1999, Noah Wyle starred in the made-for-television docudrama, "Pirates of Silicon Valley", which documents the rise of the home computer/personal computer through the rivalry between Apple Computer and Microsoft. Wyle played the role of Steve Jobs, founder of Apple Computer. As a publicity stunt for "Pirates of Silicon Valley", Wyle and Jobs played a practical joke on the audience. Wyle made an appearance during the beginning of Steve Jobs' "Macworld Expo Keynote" presentation, initially pretending to be Jobs. When the audience caught on, Jobs himself appeared and began to joke with Wyle.
