  • Description: Regine Nehy, an IMTA alum just landed a coveted role as Celia, Samuel L. Jackson's daughter in the new John Lassiter film Lakeview Terrace. IMTA alum Ashton Kutcher stars as part of the interracial couple who moves into a neighborhood and becomes the focus of racist neighbor played by Samuel L. Jackson in this dramatic thriller.

    Since competing at IMTA in New York of 2000 Regine has busy working. She has starred in the the film Pride about a swim team overcoming numerous obstacles to become state champions. Her resume includes the Lifetime network movie Fighting the Odds: The Marilyn Gambrell Story, which airs Tuesday June 19, guest starring on an episode of the hit drama Grey’s Anatomy, and a starring role in the independent feature Weapons which co stars IMTA alum Riley Smith. This film was nominated for the Grand Jury Prize at this year’s Sundance Film Festival. Nehy just wrapped Boot Camp a thriller about a group of troubled teens sent to a rehab camp on Fiji that turns out to be boot camp where they are abused and brainwashed.
